摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the manufacturing of an acoustic lens having a lens surface with a small curvature radius at a low cost by building up a lens surface of an acoustic lens with an etching profile formed by etching a substrate material as lens body. CONSTITUTION:First, a layer 12 deposited with chromium and gold as mask layer by etching on the surface of a silicon single crystal substrate 11 is formed and moreover, a resist layer 13 is applied thereon. An etching is performed at a plurality of dot-shaped opening 14 formed at the center position of a lens spherical surface to allow the opening of the dot-shaped openings corresponding to a mask layer 12 as well. Then, the resist film 13 is removed away and an etching is performed for the silicone single crystal substrate 11 through the opening 14 of the mask layer 12 to obtain an etching profile 15 of a semi- spherical surface. Subsequently, in addition, an oxide film SiO2 16 is formed on the semi-spherical surface appearing with the removal of the mask layer 12. Then, an undesired part of the SiO2 film 16 is removed and a piezo-electric element 17 is formed on the back side of the substrate, thereby completing an acoustic lens system with a spherical lens surface 18.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a voice coil motor smooth in operation and excellent in high-speed responding properties by forming an air bearing within a center yoke between a coil supporting member formed in the manner of freely moving in the longitudinal direction and at least one of said center yoke or a magnet. CONSTITUTION:By introduction of air from an air intake 14a, said air is jetted from a hole 14 and an air port 15 into the hole 13 of a center yoke 2 to form an air bearing so that a support shaft 12 rises in the non-contact state with said center yoke 2. Therefore, when power is applied to a coil 7, a head 10 can be positioned relative to a magnetic disc 11. About 0.5mm gaps are respectively secured between a moving member 5 and said coil 7 and between the center yoke 2 and a magnet 3. Accordingly, even if said support shaft 12 provided integrally with said moving member 5 rises within the hole 13 of said center yoke 2 and moves in the longitudinal direction, said both parts are prevented from coming into contact with each other to obstruct the movement of said movable member 5.

摘要： PURPOSE:To move a movable carriage integrated with an external member on a high speed by forming an air bearing between an internal member and the external member fitted thereto, by coupling a coil of a voice coil motor to the external member and by moving the external member. CONSTITUTION:A voice coil motor is formed by a center yoke 101, two side yokes 102, a coil 8 and two magnets 11. Two legs 141 is adhered to the coil 8, at the top of which a member 15 square in section is installed. With a sheath member 14, a slider, the square member 15 is surrounded with a clearance, between which air is blown in from an air supply pipe 16 and the air is exhausted from an air blowout hole 152 to form an air bearing 151. A current is caused to flow to the coil 8 and a movable carriage 301 coupled to the sheath member 14 is moved. The miniature and lightweight movable carriage moving at a high speed can thereby be manufactured easily. It is suitable for a high speed scanning of a specimen and a probe, as in an ultrasonic microscope.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic recorder having a magnetic recording disk on which patterns for positioning are previously formed. CONSTITUTION: This magnetic recorder has the magnetic recording disk and a magnetic head arranged to face the magnetic recording disk surface in order to write signals on the magnetic recording disk. The surface of a substrate 31 of the magnetic recording disk is provided with plural recording regions consisting of thin films contg. magnetic materials 33 and non-recording regions consisting of microsolids 33 between these plural recording regions. In addition, the patterns for positioning the magnetic head with respect to the recording regions are formed at the time of forming the non-recording regions simultaneously therewith. As a result, the need for writing the patterns for positioning after assembling of the magnetic recording disk to the magnetic recorder is eliminated and, therefore, the stages are simplified and the accuracy of forming the patterns for positioning is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the fatigue strength of mullite type ceramic with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and low dielectric factor, which is suitable for circuit board of computer, by filling microflaws, existing at the surface of a mullite type ceramic sintered substance in specified composition, with glass. CONSTITUTION:A mullite type ceramic is composed of 70-80wt.% mullite and as remainder a sintering aid agent consisting of 70-90wt.% SiO2, 5-25wt.% Al2O3, and 1-5wt.% MgO. Microflaws at the surface of ceramic are tightly filled with non-alkali metal glass having a melting point of 450-1000 deg.C and a coefficient of thermal expansion 3.5-5X10 / deg.C. To fabricate a circuit board, glass is coated over the front and rear surfaces of ceramic sintered substance 21 followed by heat treatment to form thereover a dense glass layer 22. Then a printed wiring layer 23 is formed on ceramic plate using Ag-Pd type conductor paste. Heating it to 850 deg.C for 10min. provides a strong bond with the glass layer 22, and a firm wiring layer is accomplished.

An output of a sensor is obtained by an arithmetic processing of the voltage applied to the electrodes 8a and 8b with an arithmetic processing circuit 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a small and high-performance vibration sensor, by a method wherein two vertically flexible beams are arranged in parallel between a rigid- structure support section and a mass section and cantilevered with the support section to allow vertical vibration of the mass section. CONSTITUTION:Two vertically flexible beams 2 and 3 are arranged in parallel between a rigid-structure support section 1 and a mass section 4. The support section 1 is fixed with an anchor body 5 to form a cantilever wedge. When a force F is applied on the mass section 4 from above, the beams 2 and 3 are displaced downward by (h) as in parallel; when the force is released, they returns to the original shape. The same pattern is etched on the surface and back of one sheet of a silicon single crystal so that the thickness of the support section 1 and the mass section 4 attains about 400mum, the area of the mass section about 2X2mm, the thickness of the beams 2 and 3 about 20mum each and the length thereof about 200mum. This enables the production of a sensor small with a high performance vibrator.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized superconducting ceramic coil wherein water also can be used as a refrigerant, by forming a superconducting ceramic into a coil shape on the surface of an aluminum nitride pipe which has insulating properties and has high thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:On the internal surface of an aluminum nitride(AlN) pipe 1, a paste is formed into a thine coil shape, and this coil 3 is sintered together with the pipe 1 to form a superconducting ceramic coil on the internal surface of the AlN pipe. The aluminum nitride has insulating properties and has electric resistivity of, e.g., 2X10 OMEGA.cm, at a room temperature, and thermal conductivity of 140W/m.k, and the AlN pipe 1 has a large thermal conductivity. The main component of the paste is superconducting ceramics powder of Y-Ba-Cu-O or the like. By cooling the external surface of AlN pipe with suitable refrigerant, the superconducting coil of the AlN pipe/superconducting ceramic can be effectively cooled through the AlN pipe of high thermal conductivity.
