    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable bicycle reduced in weight and simply collapsed and carried to freely get in a bus, a train and the like, which can be simply collapsed and built up in one to three minutes without any tool, and designed to be 4 to 7 kg in weight to be stored with dimensions of A4-size so that it is convenient to carry, and when it is carried to the company, the school or sightseeing, a traffic jam in the periphery of a station can be solved and the effect of holding environmental sanitation is produced.
      SOLUTION: A A4-sized box is unfolded to secure a space about 810 mm long, 720 mm wide and 520 mm high. Attached tires, and the other devices mounted in the space are collapsed simply to be stored in the A4-sized box of 298 mm high, 210 mm wide and 120 mm thick. When the diameter of the tire is further reduced, the bicycle can be collapsed and stored in a B5-sized space. Thus, a very-small and light-weighted portable bicycle can be obtained.

      SOLUTION: In cylinders 2, a hermetically sealed pneumatic pressure filled space 2a and a non-pneumatic pressure filled space 2b provided with a spring 14 for energizing a piston 6 so as to resist the pneumatic pressure are provided at a variable space ratio with the piston 6, movable within the cylinder 2, as a boundary between the spaces. The cylinders 2 are provided symmetrically about the center of a rotating shaft.
