    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode for storage material wherein an active field on the surface of a sheet can be efficiently utilized.
      SOLUTION: The method is used to manufacture an electrode for storage material that is provided with an assembly of hollow cylindrical structure, and it includes a step to make a sheet-like inorganic sheet by peeling an inorganic layer-like compound; a step to make a cylindrical structure wherein a mold is provided at the central part, from the inorganic sheet by using a mold; a step to form an assembly by integrating the cylindrical structure; a step to make a hollow cylindrical structure by removing the mold from the cylindrical structure of the assembly; and a step to give a conductive material to a gap formed in the assembly wherein the hollow cylindrical structure is integrated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for a new storage device having a large capacity and which can be charged and discharged at a high speed, and a manufacturing method of the same.
      SOLUTION: There is provided an electrode material made of an oxide-carbon composite made of a carbon material and an oxide formed on a surface of the carbon material, wherein the oxide formed on the surface of the carbon material is the oxide obtained by dehydrating a sheet-like double hydroxide which is obtained by peeling a layer of a laminar double hydroxide. There is also provided a manufacturing method of the electrode material made of the oxide-carbon composite, including the steps of: obtaining the sheet-like double hydroxide by peeling the layer of the laminar double hydroxide; making the sheet-like double hydroxide adsorbed on the surface of the carbon material to thereby make a sheet-like double hydroxide-carbon composite; and dehydrating the sheet-like double hydroxide in the sheet-like double hydroxide-carbon composite to thereby obtain the oxide-carbon composite.
