摘要： An air circuit breaker in which the short time conduction capacity is increased by suppressing floating and lateral shift of a movable contact point (6a), and retarding generation of arc from a contact plane. The air circuit breaker comprises a flexible conductor (7) of substantially U-shape formed by bending a movable contact (6) having the movable contact point (6a) in the switching direction such that the movable contact (6) can be switched a lever action shaft (6c) for converting an electromagnetic force in the spreding-out direction at the U-shaped part of the flexible conductor (7) produced by a conducting current into a pressing force of the movable contact point (6a), and a plurality of magnetic plates (13) arranged in parallel, through a magnetic gap (13a), between the U-shaped side face poles of the flexible conductor in order to enhance the electromagnetic force. The magnetic plate between each pole may be extended from the U-shaped side face to the side part of the switching contact.

摘要： A circuit breaker comprising: a housing (12) having a line phase connection and load phase connection (34,36) accessible from an exterior of said housing. A conductive path is provided within said housing between said line and load phase connections, and a circuit interrupting portion is disposed within said housing and configured to open said conductive path upon the occurrence of a first predefined condition. A reset portion having an actuator (30) extending through said exterior of said housing is provided, wherein activation of the reset portion activates the circuit interrupting portion, and is configured to close said conductive path upon actuation of said actuator. 摘要： The present invention relates to a recloser that comprises a vacuum switch having its contacts in the shape of current inputs as well as transmission-type transformers connected to said current inputs. These components are all coated with a polymeric isolation material which is covered by a metallic protection casing attached to the isolation of the current inputs. All conductive parts are isolated so that a loss in the casing tightness has no incidence on the operation capacity of the apparatus. The current inputs are connected to isolated conductors by collet clamps and protected by an atmosphere-resistant resin-based isolation. The lower part of the casing is made of an atmosphere-resistant semi-unbreakable glass of the Lexan type so that the position indicator of the switch remains clearly visible and that the operation of the vacuum switch can be visually monitored.

摘要： A circuit breaker control system (24) includes a motor driven fork assembly (36), activated from a remote location, for simultaneously opening all of the breaker load contacts (54) and locking them in an open position. A DC voltage is selectively applied to energize the reversible DC motor (32). The switch (66) at the remote location can be operated to enable a user-customer to return the breaker to operable condition at the breaker site. This is accomplished with an SCR circuit (70) that is enabled by the remote switch (66) and actuated by the user to operate the motor in a reverse direction to release the load contacts.
