摘要： An object of the invention is to provide a piezoelectric device in which miniaturization of its plane size is possible and the resonance design of a TAB tape is readily performed. Further, another object of the invention is to provide a piezoelectric device which can surely seal a seal hole. A piezoelectric device 10 is constructed so that: an IC chip 14 is mounted on an inner bottom surface of a package; a piezoelectric vibrating reed 16 is electrically and mechanically connected onto a TAB tape 32 in which a lead is provided on a surface of a resin tape; and the TAB tape 32 to which the piezoelectric vibrating reed 16 has been joined is mounted in the package, whereby the piezoelectric vibrating reed 16 is arranged above the IC chip 14.

摘要： Methods of manufacturing a haptic device having a compliant suspension element. Segments of piezo material are coupled to at least one surface of at least one compliant suspension element, and the at least one suspension element is coupled to a touch screen component. The at least one suspension element is also coupled to a housing component. The segments of piezo material are configured to produce a force that moves the touch screen component relative to the housing component and thereby provide a haptic effect to a user of the touch screen component. In reaction to the force produced by the segments of piezo material, the at least one suspension element is configured to allow movement of the touch screen component relative to the housing component in a first direction and to limit movement between the touch screen component and the housing component in at least a second direction.

摘要： A piezoelectric device capable of ensuring resistance to molding without an increase in costs and a method for producing the same are provided. The piezoelectric device includes an elemental substrate (12) having a piezoelectric element (14) and a conductive pattern (15) electrically connected to the piezoelectric element; and insulating members (20 and 22) disposed on the elemental substrate (12) and surrounding the piezoelectric element (14) leaving a space around the piezoelectric element (14). The insulating members (20 and 22) have an internal conductor connected to the conductive pattern (15) and extending apart from the elemental substrate (12). The internal conductor has expanded portions (17b and 17c) expanding in a direction intersecting the wiring direction of the internal conductor or a detour portion out of the wiring direction. The expanded portions (17b and 17c) or the detour portion crosses the boundary of a sealed space formed around the piezoelectric element.
