    • A motor unit is provided which shortens an information transmission path between a detector and an arithmetic board and in which the detector and the arithmetic board are located close to each other. The motor unit includes a motor 12 and a motor controller 13 controlling a rotating operation of the motor based on a rotating angle of the motor 12 such that the motor 12 and the motor controller 13 form a unit. The motor controller 13 includes a resolver 50 detecting a voltage signal corresponding to the rotating operation of the motor 12. The resolver 50 outputs the voltage signal corresponding to the rotating operation of the motor 12, to a control board 90. The resolver 50 is interposed between the motor 12 and the control board 90 and detects a rotating angle of a shaft end of a motor shaft extending beyond an operation performing apparatus that performs an operation of supplying driving power to the motor, to a position closer to the control board 90.

    • An electric actuator includes: an electric motor that includes an output shaft and generates a rotational driving force; shift and select conversion mechanisms that transmit the rotational driving force to a shift select shaft; a transmission shaft that transmits the rotational driving force to the shift and select conversion mechanisms; and a coupling that is provided coaxially with the output shaft and the transmission shaft and connects the output shaft to the transmission shaft so that the output shaft and the transmission shaft are rotatable together. The electric actuator includes a resolver that detects a rotation angle of the output shaft, with regard to the electric motor. A resolver rotor of the resolver is fitted to an outer periphery of a transmission shaft-side cylindrical portion of the coupling.

    • The present invention provides a position detector which can detect the position of a mover on the side of a stator, and which realizes detection with high accuracy in a moving magnet type linear motor.
      In a moving magnet type linear motor including: a stator 2 with a plurality of coils placed in one direction; and a mover 3 with a permanent magnet so placed as to be opposed to the stator 2, a position detector according to one embodiment of the present invention detects the position of the mover 3. The position detector includes a magnetic body 5 fixed to the mover 3. One or two or more coils are selected and a voltage is applied to the selected coil while a current or a voltage induced in a coil adjacent to the selected coil is measured, and the position of the magnetic body 5 that changes in response to the position of the mover 3 is determined based on the measured current or the measured voltage.
