    • A patterning system includes transportable nodes, each having a unique identifier, and including an element having first and second states and a transceiver for receiving a element command signal. A transmitter sends a query command to the transportable nodes to validate the identifier against the database and activate validated transportable nodes to receive the signal. A controller sends the signal to activated transportable nodes to bring the plurality of nodes into one of their states to form a pattern. The controller can send pattern data to the transportable nodes, where each acts as a discrete part of an image array comprised of the transportable nodes, with each brought into one of its states in response to respective pattern data to create a pattern. Methods include receiving identifying information from the transportable nodes, verifying if they are registered for a venue, and transmitting an element command signal to registered transportable nodes to create a pattern at the venue.

    • Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and apparatus for data communication in a virtualized environment, and a processor. A write function of a graphics driver is called by a graphics processing program by using a graphics processing interface, where a function in a call process is recorded in a function stack; an entry address of a write function of the graphics processing interface is determined according to an entry address of the write function of the graphics driver and a quantity of layers of the function stack, and an offset and a length that are of a vertex buffer of the graphics processing program are read from the entry address of the write function of the graphics processing interface, so as to determine a data area that is modified by the graphics processing program and is in the vertex buffer, where the modified data area is data necessary for graphics rendering. A user virtual machine sends only the data necessary for graphics rendering to a rendering server, which avoids unnecessary data transmission, reduces a communication overhead between the user virtual machine and the rendering server, and increases a rendering speed of the rendering server, thereby improving efficiency of sharing in a GPU virtualization technology and improving user experience.

The method also includes sequentially transferring the display data to secondary caches and repeating the steps until pixel data for a row of pixel structures corresponding to the first resolution are processed and stored in the secondary caches as display data, and transferring the display data to a row of pixel structures corresponding to the second resolution.
