    • An audio identification device is provided. The audio identification device comprises: at least one sensing device configured to capture an audio signal present in a working space of a processing setup including at least one processing device; and a processor configured to: receive information related to the at least one processing device; retrieve audio data stored in a database using the received information related to the at least one processing device; identify a state of the at least one processing device by analyzing the audio signal captured by the at least one sensing device based on the retrieved audio data; and output a response, the response being determined based on the identified state of the at least one processing device.

    • The invention relates to a device (6) and a method (54) for acoustically monitoring at least one listening sector (34), which lies in a monitoring plane (UE) that can be monitored by means of a sonar system. The sonar system comprises a receiving antenna (38) having a plurality of underwater sound receivers (40), wherein by means of the receiving antenna (38), underwater sound signals can be received and received signals can be generated from the underwater sound signals. The sonar system further comprises a direction generator (8) and an audio signal processing unit (10), which together can be used to generate an audio signal (60) that acoustically reproduces the listening sector (42) from the incoming signals. The device (6) comprises a main listening direction setting means (23), by means of which a main listening direction (44) lying in the monitoring plane (UE) can be adjusted by swiveling relative to a reference direction (BR) fixed to the antenna. According to the invention, the device (6) comprises a line of sight detection means (12), by means of which a line of sight (16) of one eye (14) or both eyes of an operator (4) can be detected. In addition, the main listening direction setting means (23) is designed in such a way that by means of the main listening direction setting means (23), the main listening direction (44) can be set according to the detected line of sight (16) so that the invention enables a simple setting of the main listening direction (44) or of a direction angle.

    • A signal processing apparatus includes: a learning processing unit (110) that finds a separating matrix for separating mixed signals in which outputs from a plurality of sound sources are mixed, by a learning process that applies ICA (Independent Component Analysis) to observed signals including the mixed signals; a separation processing unit (123) that applies the separating matrix to the observed signals to separate the mixed signals and generate separated signals corresponding to each of the sound sources; and a sound source direction estimating unit (125) that computes a sound source direction of each of the generated separated signals. The sound source direction estimating unit (125) calculates cross-covariance matrices between the observed signals and the separated signals in corresponding time segments in time-frequency domain, computes phase differences between elements of the cross-covariance matrices, and computes a sound source direction corresponding to each of the separated signals by applying the computed phase differences.
