摘要： A robust sensor that incorporates the necessary physical structure and thermal characteristics is capable of measuring fluid flow and properties under harsh enrironmental conditions. The sensor die is made of a material with thermal conductivity tailored to provide the thermal transmission characteristics necessray to avoid saturation of the sensor, thus enabling the measurement of high mass flux airflow and liquid properties under high pressure and often harsh environments not previously available for silicon based sensors. The robust sensor furter has internal vias for back-side electrical connection, thus avoiding electrical and mechanical interference with the measurements. All of these features come together to provide a microsensor which is capable of reliable, i.e. stable, wide dynamic range and rapid-response operation under harsh environments.

Die Staubmessung erfolgt mittels des triboelektrischen Effektes. Das Gerätesystem besteht aus der eigentlichen Sonde (1) mit dem Sondenkopf (2) und der Auswerteinheit (4). Die Sonde (1) besteht aus vier Sensoren, zwei Staubsensoren (1.1,1.2), dem Nullpunktsensor (1.3) für das Staubsignal und der Staubdrucksonde (1.4) mit integriertem Temperatursensor. Die Signale der Staubsensoren (1.1,1.2) und des Nullpunktsensors (1.3) werden im Sondenkopf (2) durch Verstärker (2.1,2.2,2.3) weiterverarbeitet. Der Differenzdruck wird durch einen Drucktransmitter (2.4) aufgenommen. Das Signal des Temperatursensors wird im Umformer (2.5) umgewandelt. Die Signale werden zu einer Auswerteinheit (4) weitergeleitet. In der Auswerteinheit (4) befindet sich der Mikro-Controller (4.1) zur Abarbeitung des Algorithmus für die Bestimmung des Staubgehaltes. Die Ausgabe erfolgt über ein Display (4.2), Signalausgänge 4...20mA - Positionszeichen (4.4) - und über eine serielle Schnittstelle (4.5). Diskrete Vorgänge (Grenzwertüberschreitung, Wartungsbedarf) können über Schaltausgänge (4.6) ausgegeben werden. Zur Berechnung, nötige Größen, Wartungsbestätigungen und Abgleichaufforderungen, können sowohl über Tastatur (4.3) als auch die serielle Schnittstelle (4.5) eingegeben werden.
