    • A resonant sensor is disclosed which may be arranged to measure the pressure of a fluid. The resonant sensor comprises a diaphragm which may be exposed to a fluid; two supports provided on the diaphragm and a resonator having at least two beams with each beam being suspended between the two supports. The ends of each beam are attached to a corresponding support at more than one point. By attaching each end of the beams to a support at more than one point, the moments and reaction forces to which the support is subjected may be balanced so that distortion of the support and diaphragm due to vibration of the resonator beams is reduced. Consequently, the resonant sensor is able to provide more precise measurements.

    • Provided are a pressure measuring method where a pressure is measured with a simple method and with high reproducibility and an intraocular pressure measuring device that is capable of measuring an intraocular pressure only by being made to come in contact with an eyelid and with which a subject himself/herself can perform intraocular pressure measurement. The intraocular pressure measuring device is constituted of a measurer (1), a piezo driver, a terminal base, an information processing device, and a resistor. The measurer (1) is constituted of a vibrator (11) such as a bimorph vibrator, four rubber bases (12), a case (13) vibratable with the vibrator (11) and the rubber bases (12) received in the case, and a contactor (14) coming in contact with an eyelid (16). In intraocular pressure measurement, the contactor (14) is made to come in contact with the eyelid (16). The vibrator (11) is constructed from a bimorph vibrator where an electric current varies according to the inner pressure of an object to be measured in contact with the vibrator with a contact AC voltage applied to the vibrator. A pressure such as an intraocular pressure of the object to be measured is measured by measuring an electric current value flowing in the vibrator.
