摘要： The present invention concerns a plant (1) for the treatment of gas streams containing contaminants, said plant (1) comprising a periodic reverse flow catalytic reactor (10) and a first device (30) able to supply heat to the reactor (10), and/or a second device (50) able to increase the amount of combustion supporter that is contained in the gas stream to be treated, and/or a third device (70) able to modify the reversal time of the reactor (10), said plant (1) being characterised in that it further comprises means (90) for driving and controlling said first device (30) and/or said second device (50) and/or said third device (70), depending on the catalyst operating conditions, said means (90) thus allowing the performance of a forced non- steady state catalytic combustion of the gas stream to be treated. The present invention also concerns a process for the treatment of gas streams containing contaminants, said process making use of said plant (1).

摘要： A thermal decomposition furnace for exhaust gas which thermally decomposes harmful substances contained in exhaust gas to make them harmless, characterized by comprising a heating chamber for heating the exhaust gas, an inlet port for introducing the exhaust gas into the heating chamber, at least a pair of electrodes installed in the heating chamber, a plurality of light-emitting heaters made mainly of carbon and interposed between the electrodes to discharge electricity upon application of a voltage, and an exhaust port through which the decomposed gas resulting from thermal decomposition of the exhaust gas is discharged to the outside of the heating chamber, the light-emitting heater being placed in an oxygen-less or vacuum condition. There is provided an inexpensive thermal decomposition furnace for exhaust gas which, when attached to an apparatus or equipment, such as incinerator, which discharges exhaust gas or flue gas containing harmful substances, thermally decomposes the harmful substances to make them harmless.
