    • The invention relates to an internal combustion engine with several cylinders. At least one cylinder is configured as a reference cylinder to which an active cylinder pressure sensor is allocated. A passive cylinder pressure sensor is allocated to each of the remaining cylinders. At least one actuating member is assigned to the cylinders. A crankshaft angle sensor is provided. During the quasi-stationary operating mode (BZ STAT) of the internal combustion engine, the cylinder segment durations (T SEG i) which are allocated to the individual cylinders are equated, by means of an actuating member engaging in at least one actuating signal which is allocated to the respective cylinder. Furthermore, during the quasi-stationary operating mode of the internal combustion engine, the measuring signal (MS P CYL REF) of the active cylinder pressure sensor is allocated to the respective measuring signals (MS P CYL k) of the passive cylinder pressure sensors. As a result, an adjustment is made of the signal processing of the measuring signals (MS P CYL k) of the passive cylinder pressure sensors, depending on the respective measuring signals of the passive cylinder pressure sensors captured during the quasi-stationary operating mode (BZ STAT), and of the signal processing of the allocated measuring signal (MS P CYL REF) of the active cylinder pressure sensor.

    • The present invention refers to a thermal-type air flow measuring instrument comprising an auxiliary passage (13) taking a part of air flowing in a main passage (15) therein, detection elements (11, 12) including a heating resistor provided in the auxiliary passage (13), a electronic circuit (4) converting air flow signals detected by using the detection elements (11, 12) into a prescribed output signal and adjusting output characteristics, a plurality of terminals to be connected to external units, and a housing (5) which is formed by inserting the terminals and includes the electronic circuit (4) therein, wherein silicon gel is filled in the housing (5) and the air flow flowing in the main passage (15) is detected on the basis of heat release of the heating resistor.
      The electronic circuit (4) is provided with a memory storing data and a microcomputer (111) conducting output processing, based on the data stored in the memory. An adjusting terminal electrically connected to the electronic circuit and provided outside the housing (5) is provided, writing of the data for output adjustment conducted through the adjusting terminal into the memory is made possible after filling the silicon gel inside the housing (5).
