摘要： The invention relates to a silencer being designed with sound absorptive material (13, 23) and a conduit section (1, 2) with one or more conduits (1) for leading gas flow into the silencer and with one or more outlets (2) for leading gas form the silencer. The sound absorptive material (13, 23) and the conduit section (1, 2) constitutes a protrusion extending from part of an outer shell (4) such as from an end cap (5, 6) constituting part of the shell for the silencer, or from an internal member, such as a baffle (9, 10) possibly separating at least two through-flowed chamber (12) of the silencer. Not-through-flowed cavities (17, 27) are arranged essentially adjacent to or at least partly surrounding said sound absorptive material (13, 23), thereby constituting one or more resonators acoustically communicating with said at least one through-flowed chamber. The silencer may also be designed so as to act as a spark-arrestor. Also, the invention relates to a combustion engine provided with such silencer.

摘要： An exhaust gas heat exchanger that exchanges heat between exhaust gas and cooling fluid of an internal combustion engine includes a tube forming an exhaust gas flow path through which the exhaust gas flows, a fin disposed in the exhaust gas flow path, and protruded tabs protruded from the tube or the fin to inhibit an exhaust gas flow. Each of the protruded tabs has a polygonal shape more than a quadrilateral shape having at least a bottom side, one lateral side and another lateral side, and an angle of the one lateral side to the bottom side is set smaller than an angle of the other lateral side to the bottom side and set smaller than 90 degrees. Each of the protruded tabs is inclined to an upstream side along an exhaust gas flow direction. In each of the protruded tabs, the bottom side is placed to intersect with a perpendicular direction to the exhaust gas flow direction, and the other lateral side is located upstream from the one lateral side. According to the exhaust gas heat exchanger, it is possible to improve heat exchange efficiency by generating a swirl flow for facilitating heat transfer effectively.

摘要： An emissions cleaning module (1) of a combustion engine may be provided with an inlet module (2) for directing incoming gas flow. It may be desirable to increase the uniformity of gas flow within the emissions cleaning module. An inlet module is described which comprises an inlet (111) for receiving exhaust gases from the combustion engine; an outlet (105) for directing said exhaust gases into an inlet of the emissions cleaning module; and a flow distributor (106) located in a flow path of the exhaust gases between the inlet and the outlet of the inlet module. The flow distributor comprises a plurality of apertures (114) through which, in use, the exhaust gases pass. This may lead to improved uniformity of gas flow within a downstream module.
