    • The door latch blocking anti-theft device consists of a metal box of 70 mm. by 80 mm., 20 mm. deep with lid, making up a semi-airtight system and lubricated with industrial grease. It consist of an axis (7) with wheel (6) which moves activated by the door (3) which in turn works the axis (9) with its wheel (10). This in turn allows metal plate (11) to move up and down worked by springs (8) and (12).
      This automatic system can be voluntarily blocked manually by pressing a button with its axis (13) installed in the lid with its operating spring (15). This axis is blocked by the part (5) in the groove of the axis. Upon shutting the door, the wheel (10) triggers the part (5) making the button jump outwards.
      When permanently fixed, the metal plate acts as an antitheft device.

    • A deadbolt assembly of the kind in which a deadbolt (l0 ) is mounted on a housing (l) for linear movement between an operative position in which deadbolt parts (ll,l2) extend across recesses (5,6) in the housing (l) to trap strike bars in the recesses (5,6) and an inoperative position in which the strike bars are not trapped. At least one actuator, such as turn knob (l3) is rotatably mounted on the housing (l) and is drivably connected to the deadbolt (l0) through a drive plate (l5) which rotates in response to operation of the actuator (l3). A drive pin (l6) is secured to the plate (l5) at a position radially outwards of the rotational axis of the plate (l5). The pin (l6) locates within a non-circular hole (30) provided in a carrier plate (24) forming part of the deadbolt (l0) and reacts against edges (32,33) of the hole (30) to cause the deadbolt movement. The pin (l6) moves along an arcuate path (20) in the plate (l5) between each of its two extreme positions (22,23), and at each of those positions the pin (l6) lies on a straight line which extends substantially parallel to the direction of movement of the deadbolt (l0) and which substantially intersects the rotational axis of the plate (l5). Both the deadbolt and the strike can be made from steel or other strong metal.

    • A safety lock mechanism is provided that facilitates accurate and consistent alignment between a locking bolt and a locking receptacle prior to engaging the locking bolt. To this end, a safety lock configured to mount to a door frame is provided with an internally disposed hard stop that protects the electrical and mechanical components within the safety lock housing from door impact shock. An extended portion of the hard stop protrudes through the housing facing the direction of door travel. A corresponding receptacle assembly configured to mount to the door is fabricated to include a bolt receptacle hole as well as an open window that engages with the extended portion of the hard stop when the door is in the closed position. When the window in the receptacle is engaged with the extended portion of the hard stop, door movement is limited in five directions even when the locking bolt is not yet engaged. An optional magnet embedded in the hard stop can limit door movement in the sixth direction by magnetically latching to a striking plate mounted behind the window. Thus, the window and the hard stop pre-position the receptacle for proper alignment between the locking bolt and the locking bolt receptacle, ensuring that the locking bolt will properly engage with the receptacle when advanced.
