摘要： A process for cooling syngas provides effective syngas cooling and results in reduced levels of fouling in syngas cooling equipment. A process for cooling syngas includes blending syngas with cooled recycled syngas in an amount effective for providing a blended syngas with a temperature at an inlet of a syngas cooler of about 600°F to about 1400°F. The blended syngas changes direction of flow at least once prior to the inlet of the syngas cooler.

摘要： This invention relates to a process and installation for plasma heat treatment of a gas mixture for its use in thermal and electric power generation plants. According to the invention, the procedure consists in the feeding of a cylindrical reaction room with a gas mixture divided into at least two different flows, tangentially to the direction of a jet of plasma, so as to create a vortex around the jet of plasma, followed by the decrease of the primary gas speed by its expansion in a chamber with increased volume and area; cooling of the primary gas to a temperature of 800 . . . 1000° C. due to endothermic reactions, solidification and gravity separation from the cooled primary gas of vitrified inorganic particles; the cooling of the primary gas up to 60° C. followed by its barbotage into a NaOH solution to remove unwanted chemical elements, resulting in a final gas mixture, and the transport of the final gas mixture thus obtained, to end user to produce heat energy and electricity. The installation corresponding to the procedure according to the invention consists of a reactor (1) formed of a cylindrical room (2) with an intake system (3) to treat gas and a plasma cannon (4), an expansion room (5) provided with a hydraulic lock (6), for the evacuation of vitrified materials and a discharge outlet (7) of the treated gas to a heat exchanger (8) for cooling the resulted gas, a scrubber (9) for chemical treatment of gas, a CO2 analyzer (10) and a gas-moving system (11) for its delivery to the equipment (12) for producing cogeneration/trigeneration electricity.

L'invention s'applique au traitement de déchets variés et permet à la fois l'exploitation directe des gaz combustibles épurés et la fabrication de vitrifiats exploitables.

摘要： A system for producing superior quality synthesis gas ("syngas") consisting of a series of chambers in which the gasification stages of reaction, homogenization and activation occur. The first stage reaction stage agitates and combines the reactants, consisting primarily of organic matter, oxidizer and steam, to initiate gasification of the organic and volatile fraction and to transport the inorganic residue to continuous removal. In the homogenization chamber, turbulence is induced by injecting gaseous species. The gas mixture emerging from the homogenization chamber is accelerated via a third stage communicating duct and is introduced tangentially into the fourth stage activation chamber inducing a cyclonic motion wherein a high intensity radiant heat source is introduced along the central axis of the gas vortex. The syngas and remaining particulate materials are constrained to exit the activation stage through discrete portals which are oriented to further separate the syngas from the remaining entrained particulates.
