摘要： The invention relates to a filling machine for filling fluid products into packaging containers, wherein the filling machine has a plurality of feedlines which run in parallel and to which packaging sleeves for forming the packaging containers are fed and along which the packaging sleeves or the packaging containers manufactured therefrom are fed in a feed direction. Such a filling machine with improved working method and reduced manufacturing and operating costs is characterized in that the feedlines have a first section (7) and a second section (8) downstream of said first section (7) in the feed direction, wherein the distance (9, 10) between at least two of the feedlines in the first and second sections in the transverse direction with respect to the profile of the feedlines is different so that at least one of the two feedlines in the second section runs with a lateral offset with respect to the first section, and in that a handling device is arranged upstream of the second section in the feed direction, which handling device receives the packaging sleeves or packaging containers from the feedlines in the first section and transfers them to the feedlines in the second section. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating the filling machine.

One of the servomechanisms is used for homing a moving mechanical part (72) of the machine (2), a servo motor (84) driving the moving mechanical part (72), the controlling device controlling the servo motor (84), and a mechanical stop (76) for stopping the moving mechanical part (72) at a home position, wherein the controlling device is arranged to monitor servo motor power draw and to recognise the home position as corresponding to a position of the servo motor (84) when the servo motor power draw reaches a predetermined value.
