A second sheet (616) is attached to the first sheet in at least a portion of the at least one of the first, second, and third panel regions in which the opening region is defined and at least a portion of a panel region adjacent to the at least one of the first, second or third panel region. A portion of the second sheet overlies the opening region and defines a reclosable flap (623) that is configured to partially detach from a remaining portion of the second sheet to expose the opening region, and the second sheet is attached to less than an entirety of the first sheet.

摘要： A gusset bag (10) is formed of a pair of flat surface parts (12A and 12B) facing each other, and side gusset parts (14) folded to the inside of the bag. The gusset bag (10) has side heat-sealing portions (16A) at which the sides of the flat surface part (12A) and sides of the side gusset parts (14) are joined at the inner surfaces thereof, side heat-sealing portions (16B) at which the sides of the flat surface part (12B) and the other sides of the side gusset parts (14) are joined at the inner surfaces thereof, and closing sealing portions (18) at which the side heat-sealing portions (16A) and the side heat-sealing portions (16B) are joined at the outer surfaces of the side gusset parts (14) by ultrasonic sealing. With this configuration, in the gusset bag (10), it is possible to easily close the gusset parts, while preventing film pieces or dust from entering the bag in a step of closing the gusset parts.

摘要： A resealable and tamper resistant bag includes a front wall having a first resealable feature, and a back wall having a second resealable feature adapted to form a seal with the first resealable feature. The front and back walls are sealingly connected along at least a pair of sides to define at least part of a holding portion of the bag. A sealed tamper resistant strip portion is formed integrally with the holding portion and is disposed adjacent the first and second resealable features. At least one seam is disposed between the holding portion and the strip portion for allowing the strip portion to be selectively removed, at least in part, from the holding portion by a user. At least one tab is defined by the seam to facilitate the user moving the first and second resealable features from a sealed position to an unsealed position.

The method (100) includes steps of sealing a handle patch (222) on at least one half width of the side gusset laminate (218). Further, the method (100) provides parallel openings on the handle patch (222) such that a centre line of the two parallel openings coincides with centre lines of each half of the side gusset laminate (218). A cover patch (226) is sealed over the handle patch (222) overlapping the edges of the handle patch (222) and simultaneously with the side gusset laminate (218) all around, such that a predefined area is left unsealed between the two parallel openings. The longitudinal edges of the side gusset laminate (218) are folded such that the handle patch (222) comes on the outer surface of the continuous open tube (242) being formed. The continuous open tube (242) is thereby used for manufacturing the flexible package (300).
