摘要： The invention relates to an electric bicycle 1 preferably a pedelec or e-bike, comprising an electric motor and an electric energy store, preferably an accumulator, for supplying energy to the electric motor. The aim of the invention is to advantageously develop the electric bicycle. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the electric bicycle 1 has a first controller 1 which is coupled to the electric motor 2 and is designed to store a first keycode; the electric bicycle 1 has a second controller 12 which is coupled to the energy store 3 and is designed to store a second keycode; the controllers 11, 12 are connected or can be connected to a data transmission system 22, which is implemented in particular by means of a bus; and the first controller 11 and the second controller 12 are designed such that at least one specified controller of the controllers 11, 12 receives the keycode of the other controller 11, 12 from same. The at least one specified controller 11, 12 is designed to determine whether its keycode matches the received keycode of the other controller 11, 12 using specified criteria. The invention also relates to an immobilizer for an electric bicycle, having a single or a plurality of the aforementioned features. The invention also relates to a method for operating an electric bicycle.
