    • Method of joining a first component (1) and a second component (2), the method comprising: arranging the first component (1) and the second component (2) adjacent one another to define an elongate joining space (12) between the first component (1) and the second component (2); and forming a joining seam (10) of seam material (13) along the joining space (12), such that the joining seam (10) interconnects the first and second components, wherein the joining seam (10) is formed progressively along the joining space (12) by a digital light processing, DLP, additive manufacturing process. And apparatus (200) for joining first and second components (1, 2), comprising a head (100) for forming a joining seam (10) along an elongate joining space (12) defined by and/or between the first and second components (1, 2) such that the joining seam (10) interconnects the said components (1; 2). The head (100) comprises: a seam material dispenser (110) for dispensing into the joining space (12) a seam material (13) in a liquid, curable state from one or more outlet openings (113) formed in an outlet end (111) of the dispenser (110); and a curing unit (120) which is configured to direct UV-light (U) onto a curing region (14) in the joining space (12), especially onto a curing plane (20) which extends transverse to the longitudinal direction (L) of the joining space (12).
