    • A core grasping apparatus (1) according to the present invention grasps a core (20) including a core main body (21) and a core print (22) provided at one end of the core main body (21). The core grasping apparatus (1) includes: a first holding device (12_1) and a second holding device (12_2) respectively including expandable and contractible first and second holding parts; and a turning suppression part configured to suppress the core (20) from turning upon the core print (22) being grasped by the first holding device (12_1) and the second holding device (12_2). The first holding device (12_1) and the second holding device (12_2) grasp the core print (22) by respectively expanding the first holding part and the second holding part, and the turning suppression part applies a force that suppresses a turning moment acting on the core (20) to the core print (22).
