摘要： The present invention provides a liquid treating device having high dissolution efficiency, which can dissolve gas in liquid to be treated efficiently. The liquid treating device includes a liquid guide cylinder 13 placed in the closed tank 12, a liquid supply unit 18 for supplying liquid 17 to be treated to the liquid suction port 15 of the liquid guide cylinder 13, a screw type pumping-up unit 27 provided within the liquid guide cylinder 13. A liquid ejection space part 33 for enlarging liquid 17a, which has been ejected from the liquid ejection port 16 by the pumping-up unit 27, in an upper part of the closed tank 12 is formed. The liquid ejection space part 33 is connected with a gas supply unit 34 for supplying compressed air under pressure to be dissolved and with a gas supply unit 35 for supplying carbon dioxide gas under pressure to be dissolved. A reflux passage 36 for circulating liquid from the liquid ejection space part 33 to a lower part of the liquid guide cylinder 13 is formed between the inner peripheral face part of the closed tank 12 and the outer peripheral face part of the liquid guide cylinder 13. Treated liquid taking-out piping 37 for taking out treated liquid to the external bath 21 is extended from a lower part of the closed tank 12.

摘要： An apparatus and method for mixing a liquid having particulate includes a vessel for containing the liquid and an axial impeller rotating about a substantially vertical axis. The impeller is adapted for submerging below the liquid surface by a distance approximately one-quarter to one-half of the height of the liquid. The impeller is oriented upwardly to produce (a) an inner, upward flow region located along the vertical axis of the vessel, (b) a transition flow region above the impeller in which liquid moves radially outwardly toward the vessel sidewall, and (c) an outer, downward flow region located along the sidewall. The impeller spins at a variable speed, such that the flow is capable of entraining solid particles having a settling velocity of up to approximately 1 foot per minute in the liquid, and the speed of the impeller is chosen to enable particles having a desired settling velocity to settle to the vessel bottom.
