摘要： An iron golf club head (30) includes: a head portion (10); and a badge portion (20) adhered to the head portion (10). The head portion (10) includes: a face surface (11); and a back surface (13) located behind the face surface (11). The badge portion (20) is adhered to at least one of a first largest amplitude region (21) where an amplitude in a fourth-order vibration mode of the back surface (13) is the largest and a second largest amplitude region (23) where an amplitude in a fifth-order vibration mode of the back surface (13) is the largest. As a result, there can be obtained an iron golf club head and an iron golf club, in which by suppressing decrease in resonant time of the hitting sound and reducing the sound pressure of the hitting sound, the hitting sound and the hitting feeling can be improved.

摘要： A golf club swing training apparatus designed to help golfers learn to selectively control a golf ball trajectory shape so that the ball is made to “bend” from right to left, or left to right. The apparatus is configured as an otherwise conventional golf club such as a driver, but wherein the shaft is spliced at a location along its length between the butt end and the head end. After removing a short piece of shaft to retain the overall length of the club, a slide mechanism is inserted to mate with the shaft's upper and lower portions. The slide mechanism permits limited transverse movement of the lower portion that is connected to the golf club head relative to the upper portion that includes the butt end or grip of the club.

摘要： A putter trainer device for detecting inaccuracies in a golf putting stroke. The putting trainer device of the present invention is releasably (2) attached to a shaft of a golf putter and comprises two guided ramps (19A, 19B) with each ramp having an active position and a neutral position. In one embodiment, a free rolling disc magnet (20A, 20B) is located upon each guided ramp and each free rolling disc magnet is biased towards the neutral position (23A, 23B) on its respective ramp. The movement of either free rolling magnet from the neutral position to the active position is detected by magnetic reed switches (25A, 25B) located adjacent each ramp. A speaker is activated when the magnetic reed switches detect that either free rolling magnet has moved from the neutral position to the active position.

摘要： A contoured golf club face provides increased structural integrity for a given weight and size is described and shown along with a method for its design. The contoured golf club face includes a vertical stiffening region, a tapered horizontal stiffening region, four similar contoured quadrants of increasingly thinning material toward the center of each quadrant, and thickening regions at face/sole and face/crown intersection regions. The thicknesses of adjoining regions are gradually blended to provide a smooth contoured surface. The present golf club face is light weight, is structurally resistant to impact deformation, is resistant to initial and long-term failure, has its mass center located at its sweet spot, exhibits inertial axes which are aligned with vertical and horizontal axes (i.e. primary club force directions: ball impact force and club centrifugal force directions), and produces acoustical tones. A club incorporating the present contoured golf club face may be provide a certain first acoustical sound when used to hit a ball with a certain first specific area of the face (e.g. the sweet spot or sweet spot region) and to provide a different second acoustical sound when used to hit a ball with an area of the face other than that first area (e.g. other than the sweet spot or sweet spot region). Thus, the present invention may be used to provide an educational tool for use in teaching and/or learning to consistently impact a ball on the optimal region of the club face.

The device generates an audible signal of confirmation when a lower threshold of pressure at predetermined locations on the grip are achieved. In many sports a major hindrances to a player in perfecting his or her same is the lack of maintaining a proper grip on the sports equipment. An important aspect of many sports including tennis, racquetball, golf, baseball and hockey is to maintain proper hand position and a firm grip on the sports equipment used. This sports equipment includes, amongst others, the tennis racket in tennis, the racket in racquetball, the golf club in golf, the bat in baseball and the stick in hockey. Proper grip and the ability to properly maintain the correct grip on the equipment is of paramount importance to consistent play. This device will attach to and encircle the various sports equipment at their handles so as to be between the hand or hands of the player and the sports equipment being gripped during play. The audible sound will act to confirm to the player that he or she has a sufficiently firm grip with a proper hand position on the sports equipment. By establishing a confirmation of a proper grip the player will then be able to concentrate on the other aspects of the particular game free from the concern about his or her grip.

摘要： A golf club swing training apparatus and a method for fabricating it are provided. The apparatus includes a golf club shaft and a slide mechanism. The shaft includes an upper portion and a lower portion that are spaced apart to form a gap there-between. The slide mechanism is inserted within this gap and is connected to the lower end of the upper shaft portion and the upper end of the lower shaft portion. The slide mechanism is configured to permit a lateral shift of this lower portion relative to this upper portion during a swinging of the club. The method uses an axial alignment apparatus to maintain the elongated axis of the upper shaft portion in substantial alignment with the elongated axis of the lower shaft portion when the slide mechanism is being connected.
