摘要： A configurable butt for a cue stick comprising a body comprising an elongate chamber having an internal thread and a movable weight coaxially located within the elongate chamber and having an external thread, the movable weight being threadingly coupled to the internal thread of the elongate chamber. An internal shaft extends through the movable weight is adapted to rotate the movable weight within the internally threaded chamber thereby causing the movable weight to move between respective ends of the elongate chamber by virtue of the threaded coupling for adjusting a centre of gravity of the cue stick. An indicator arrangement is coupled to the internal shaft and adapted to provide an indicate of the location of the movable weight within the elongate chamber.

摘要： A golf club having a hollow golf club head which is filled with a gas under pressure. The interior surface of the golf club head is coated with a solidified layer of plastic material. The pressurized gas permits the use of thinner face plates by compensating for forces generated when the face plate strikes a golf ball. The plastic layer is preferably applied through the process of rotational molding using a thermoplastic material.

摘要： Putter heads include a ball striking head body member and a rear body member. In some putter heads, the ball striking head body member includes a rearwardly extending body support having an opening defined therein, and the rear body member extends through this opening. In other putter heads, the rear body member includes a forwardly projecting platform that includes an alignment aid thereon. In still other putter heads, the ball striking head body member includes rearward extending arms at the heel and toe sides that extend rearward at an angle to a location outside the heel and toe edges, respectively, of the ball striking face. Additionally, the rear body member of other putter heads have a first end engaged at a heel side of the ball striking head body member and a free second end that is not engaged with any portion of the putter head.

摘要： The present invention provides for goff clubs, in particular woods, which include a three dimensional weighting system including at least two weight ports which are attached to the outside of the clubhead. The weights are directly axially aligned to, and form an equilateral triangle with the clubs center of gravity. The weights are preferably located in close proximity to the sole plate of the club in the rear toe and heel position. The two double sided, from top to bottom weights, facilitate vertical, horizontal and lateral movement of the club's center of gravity. The weights are made of various densities which can easily be interchanged to make the club lighter or heavier. This weighting system allows for individual customization of the club to increase or decrease the hooking or slicing of the ball. It also enables the club to have the greatest possible expansion of the moment of inertia, as well as the ability to lower or raise the clubs center of gravity to customize shot trajectory.

摘要： A ball striking device, such as a golf club, includes a head with a face having a ball striking surface configured for striking a ball, a body connected to the face, and a filling material, which may be in the form of an insert, connected to a rear surface of the face. The filling material may fill in a thinned portion of the face, which may form a recess on the rear surface of the face that receives the filling material. The filling material has a density that is lower than the density of the face material. Depending on the size, shape, and location of the filling material, the weight distribution, the moment of inertia, and/or the center of gravity of the face may change.
