摘要： An alignment assembly for a cartridge interface of a drug delivery device is disclosed. The assembly optionally includes a coupling for opening fluid communication between the cartridge and the delivery device. For example, the coupling optionally includes a cannula insertable through a septum of the cartridge. The assembly may include a guide for positioning the cartridge and/or an access channel thereof within a first precision of a loaded position. The assembly optionally includes a cartridge engagement fitting (for example a gripping expander sleeve collar) attached to the coupling. Optionally when the cartridge is engaged to the fitting, the coupling is retained in connection with the access channel to within a second precision. The second precision is optionally higher than the first precision. In some embodiments one or more compliant supports movably retain the fitting oriented to engage the cartridge when the access channel is in the loaded position.

摘要： A syringe fill system is described, which is useful for filling syringes for dental anesthetic applications. The system incorporates capability for “push-pull”, “pull-push”, “push-push”, and “pull-pull” modes of operation, for loading syringes with compositions comprising multiple fluid components. A syringe fillable by such syringe fill systems is described, providing haptic and audible feedback to a user, to aid in administering precise amounts of therapeutic compositions. Also disclosed are cassette assemblies for use in such syringe fill systems. Such cassette assemblies may be formed of plastic and elastomeric materials of construction, as disposable or single-use components of the syringe fill system.

摘要： The present invention provides a measurement method, a measurement device, and a program capable of non-destructively measuring a volume of an aqueous solution of a drug in each needle-like recess of a mold with high accuracy. A measurement method according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a measurement wave intensity acquisition step of acquiring, for each needle-like recess, an intensity of a measurement wave transmitted through a drug in a needle-like recess, absorbed by the drug by an amount according to a distance by which the measurement wave is transmitted through the drug, and emitted from the drug; and a volume acquisition step of acquiring a volume for each needle-like recess on the basis of the intensity of the measurement wave for each needle-like recess acquired in the measurement wave intensity acquisition step.

In addition, the actuator (158) is displaceable from the ready state to cause actuation of the medical injector (152). The displacement from the ready state causes distal displacement of the engagement portion (178) with the engagement portion (178) engaging one or more of the ratchet teeth (168) and causing distal displacement of the plunger (164) with the engagement portion (178). 摘要： A device is disclosed for reconstitution and delivery of an injectable pharmaceutical. A diluent is provided in a pressurized reservoir, while separately a syringe with a needle contains a pharmaceutical such as a lyophilized drug. When the pressurized reservoir is coupled to the interior of the syringe, such as by piercing the pressurized reservoir with the needle, the pressurized reservoir forces the diluent into the syringe where the diluent can mix with and reconstitute the pharmaceutical. A variety of techniques are disclosed for pressurizing the reservoir and fluidly coupling the reservoir with the syringe. The techniques disclosed herein may, for example, be adapted for use with a conventional syringe and needle.
