摘要： There is provided a PTP packaging machine that enables a non-defective content not to be wasted but to be used and that achieves simplification of the apparatus and reduction of various costs. A filling device includes a downstream side rotating drum 58 used to fill tablets 5 as contents into pocket portions 2. The downstream side rotating drum 58 includes downstream side sucking portions 58A and is configured to change over the sucking state of the tablet 5 relative to the downstream side sucking portion 58A. When any of the tablets 5 to be supplied to an expected sheet portion that eventually forms a PTP sheet, is determined as a defective, the downstream side sucking portion 58A is kept in the sucking state. This configuration does not fill any non-defective tablet 5 into the pocket portion 2 of this expected sheet portion but keeps the non-defective tablet 5 sucked by the downstream side sucking portion 58A. The tablet 5 kept sucked by the downstream side sucking portion 58A is used for subsequent filling.

摘要： Various embodiments relate to systems and methods for monitoring adherence to a medication regimen through the use of a smart medication container. The container can include an electronic display that presents relevant information, such as dosage and/or medication information, instructions, user information, messages, notifications, and device information (e.g., battery status, network connectivity status). A pair of conductive elements positioned on either side of the container's opening can be configured to continually measure capacitance in order to identify when contents (e.g., pills) leave the container. More than one pair of conductive elements may be used to improve accuracy and reduce the effects of noise. A processor is able to analyze the capacitance data and determine whether medication has been dispensed from the container and, if so, how much medication was dispensed. A computer system can then compare the results to a planned medication regimen to determine a state of compliance.

摘要： A utility cart includes a sensor or plurality of sensors to determine the state of a cart and secure cart contents. A sensor may be used to determine whether the contents of the cart have been accessed. When the sensor determines that the cart has been accessed, an alarm sequence that sounds an alarm or activates a visual indicator will be initiated. The alarm sequence may be terminated by a kill switch or by using an input device to deactivate the alarm. After the cart is used, the cart is re-stocked and the alarm controller is re-armed to return the cart's alarm system to an access sensing state.

When the infant applies pressure to the mouth portion, the sensor responds and sends a signal to the controller that activates the vibrator to vibrate the mouth portion for a predetermined time. The controller then prevents the vibrator from vibrating until the child reactivates the device with more pressure to start the vibrating cycle again. When the removable cap is attached, the housing and mouth portion are sealed preventing liquid from coming into contact with printed circuit board or its components. The apparatus includes a moving surface, such as a rotating disk, to receive and move pills past one or more gates that separate and orient groups of pills into a single file. The gates can start at a closed position and open until a pill has passed the gate. In one embodiment, a mixer counter-rotates relative to the rotating disk to prevent jams of the pills. The single file of pills is then guided out to an exit chute via an exit path. An alternative exit path provides an alternative route via which the pills exit the pill feeder. Multiple sensors can control the movement of the gates and the rate at which the pills exit the pill feeder.
