摘要： Ostomy bag assembly having an outer bag (2) with a base plate coupling element (1) attached to an edge of an outer bag main aperture (6), and an inner bag (3) with an inner bag main aperture (7). In operation the inner bag (3) is aligned with the outer bag main aperture (6), and the inner bag (3) is provided with a liquid sealing and gas permeable barrier device (9). The three position filter device (8) is arranged to have a first, second and third operational position each allowing a different amount of gas to be guided out from the outer bag (2). A shutter member (27) is provided in movable engagement with a filter body (25) attached to the outer bag (2).

摘要： There is provided a disposable ostomy bag assembly (1) comprising a bag (3) for receiving bodily waste materials; a compactable sheath (2) for closing and sealing the bag (3) after use; and a flange (4) for securing the assembly to the body of a patent and provided with an orifice to enable bodily waste to be received by the bag (3). The ostomy assembly (1) solves the problem of escaping malodour and bodily waste when the patient detaches the ostomy bag from the body (face plate (5)). The compactable sheath (2) can be stretched to acquire a cylindrical sheath (2) extending from the flange (4), whereby the sheath (2) may be closed in order to seal the contents of the bag (3). Closing the sheath (2) may simply be done by tying a knot (6).

摘要： An alkali-disposable ostomy bag has a pouch 1 with flange 2 for attachment to the patient. The flange 2 is formed from two discs one of which 22 is relatively thin and alkali disposable and is permanently attached to the pouch. The other disc 21 is thicker, with a hydrocolloid surface 24, and is attached with the disc 22 on the pouch by a peel-off adhesive 26. After use, the bag is removed from the patient and the thicker disc 21 is peeled off the thinner disc 22 so that it can be disposed of. The adhesive 26 remains on the thinner disc 22 so that the pouch 1 can be sealed and disposed of by adding an alkali to a wc pan.
