摘要： A base plate for an ostomy appliance is disclosed. The base plate comprises a first adhesive layer with a proximal side configured for attachment of the base plate to the skin surface of a user; a plurality of electrodes including a first electrode and a second electrode, the first electrode comprising a first connection part and the second electrode comprising a second connection part; a monitor interface for forming mechanical and electrical connection with a monitor device, the monitor interface comprising a coupling part and a plurality of terminals including a first terminal; and a multiplexer with a number of N input pins and a number of M output pins; wherein the N input pins include a first input pin and a second input pin, and the M output pins include a first output pin, wherein the first input pin is connected to the first connection part and the second input pin is connected to the second connection part, and the first output pin is connected to the first terminal of the monitor interface. The multiplexer is configured to connect the first input pin to the first output pin in a first multiplexer configuration and to connect the second input pin to the first output pin in a second multiplexer configuration.

In an embodiment, an accessory device for an ostomy system comprises a monitor device and an ostomy appliance. The ostomy appliance comprises a base plate. The accessory device comprises: a memory, a processor, and a monitor interface coupled to the processor and configured to communicate with the monitor device and obtain monitor data from the monitor device coupled to the ostomy appliance. The processor is configured to determine an operating state of the base plate, determine a location of the accessory device, and determine an actual wear time of the ostomy appliance based on the operating state and the location.

摘要： A fecal collection system comprises a user interface assembly, a drainage conduit extending between a proximal end and a distal end, and a collection reservoir coupled to the distal end of the drainage conduit. The user interface assembly comprises a user interface having a proximal side and a distal side. The proximal side is configured to couple to skin of a user. The user interface comprises an adhesive sheet including an adhesive on the proximal side. The user interface assembly further comprises an applicator coupled to the distal side of the user interface, wherein the applicator is removable from the user interface while the user interface is coupled to the user. The user interface assembly further comprises a first release liner removably coupled to a first half of an adhesive sheet of the user interface, and a second release liner removably coupled to a second half of the adhesive sheet. The first release liner comprises a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion of the first release liner covers the first half of the adhesive sheet, wherein the second portion of the first release liner has a first end that is coupled to the first portion of the first release liner at an inner portion of the user interface and a second end that is separate from the first portion of the first release liner at an outer portion of the user interface. The second release liner comprises a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion of the second release liner covers the second half of the adhesive sheet, and wherein the second portion of the second release liner has a first end that is coupled to the first portion of the second release liner at an inner portion of the user interface and a second end that is separate from the first portion of the second release liner at an outer portion of the user interface. The proximal end of the drainage conduit is configured to couple to the distal side of the user interface, wherein the drainage conduit defines a lumen configured to guide feces from the proximal end to the distal end.
