    • The present invention aims to provide an absorptive article improved so that, under a tensile force in a longitudinal direction so as to distance both ends from each other in the longitudinal direction, the article is sufficiently stretched. A sanitary napkin 10 as an example of pad-shaped absorbent article has a longitudinal direction A and a transverse direction B, opposite lateral ends 17 and opposite longitudinal sides 16 and includes a liquid-permeable topsheet 11 defining a skin-facing surface 11a, a backsheet 12 defining a garment-facing surface 12a and an absorbent body 13 between the top- and backsheets. The topsheet 11, the backsheet 12 and the absorbent body 13 respectively have an extensibility in the longitudinal direction A. The extensibility of at least one of the topsheet 11 and the backsheet 12 is an elastic extensibility. The sheets 11, 12 have first regions 29 extending across the absorbent body 13 in the transverse direction B to express an elastic extensibility and second regions 30 having an elastic extensibility in the longitudinal direction A lower than that of the first regions 29. The absorbent body 13 has a plurality of slits 33a, 33b extending in the transverse direction B and expresses an extensibility in the longitudinal direction A, when the article is subjected to tensile forces opposite in the longitudinal direction A so as to open the slits 33a, 33b and the absorbent body 13 is arranged so that at least one of the slits 33a, 33b overlaps with the first regions 29.

    • The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide: an absorbent article that has excellent absorbability of urine including solid components, and from which urine including solid components is less likely to leak; and a wearable article comprising said absorbent article. Disclosed is an absorbent article having the following structure. This absorbent article (100) is for absorbing urine including solid components, wherein: a topsheet (120) is a nonwoven fabric that has a skin-side surface having projections (122) formed thereon; the content by percentage of fibers oriented in the thickness direction in each projection (122) of the nonwoven fabric is greater than the content by percentage of fibers oriented in the thickness direction in sections of the nonwoven fabric other than the projections (122); the thickness of the nonwoven fabric when wet is greater than or equal to 85% the thickness of the nonwoven fabric when dry; the nonwoven fabric includes a first fiber layer and a second fiber layer; the first fiber layer is constituted by durable hydrophilic fibers; and the second fiber layer is constituted by durable hydrophilic fibers and non-durable hydrophilic fibers.

    • Provided is a disposable diaper that readily deforms to the intended shape of an absorbent body, and that can prevent the absorbent body from losing shape during use. The absorbent body is provided with a left and right pair of fold-inducing bands (8) that extend forward and backward from the crotch area center, the distance in the width direction between the left and right pair of fold-inducing bands being greater at the front edge and the back edge of the fold-inducing bands than in the crotch area center. The front edges and the back edges of the fold-inducing bands are positioned farther to the outside in the width direction than are the widthwise inside positions of joined areas (9) of a leak barrier and a top sheet. The fold-inducing bands include hydrophilic fibers and a highly absorbent polymer, but have lower basis weight and lower highly absorbent polymer content as compared with other regions of the absorbent body. Compression grooves (10) are provided within the fold-inducing bands, the compression grooves having higher density as compared with other regions of the absorbent body.
