摘要： The present disclosure generally relates to a manifold valve assembly engaged to an inflatable apparatus, such as a cushion to prevent pressure ulcers, for example. The manifold valve assembly is also in communication with a processing device to determine an optimal immersion level for a user seated on the inflatable apparatus. Additionally the processing device, in communication with the manifold valve assembly may save optimal immersion or air pressure levels for comparison to future checks of cushion pressure and send that to a user interface at the processing device. 摘要： The present invention relates to a cushion having embedded automatically-charging air tubes and a method for manufacturing same, and more specifically, to a cushion having embedded automatically-charging air tubes usable as cushioning materia1 in bedding including beds and pillows, and various seats, and to a method for manufacturing the cushion having embedded automatically-charging air tubes. The present invention intends to provide the cushion having embedded automatically-charging air tubes and the method for manufacturing same, by arranging air tubes uniformly spaced apart inside a cavity of a mold for manufacturing a cushion, and foam-mo1ding by injecting a cushion materia1 inside the cavity in the mo1d, so that the cushion materia1 surrounds the air tubes whi1e integrally adhering to the outer surface of the air tubes. As a resu1t, air can be automatically charged inside the air tubes and cushioning force with high elasticity can be provided, whi1e enabling even distribution of a load by integrally forming the air tubes and the cushion materia1.

A person support apparatus comprises at least one deck extension which is configured to be retracted or extended by at least one motor controlled by a bed controller. 摘要： A patient support apparatus (10) includes a patient support surface (22) to support a patient. The patient support surface has at least one air bladder that is inflated and/or deflated to achieve a turn assist function and/or a therapy function of the patient support surface (22). A graphical user interface (GUI) (142) is configured to receive user inputs from a caregiver to initiate the turn assist or therapy functions. The patient support apparatus (10) has control circuitry (98) coupled to the GUI (142). The GUI (142) is controlled by the control circuitry (98) to display information indicating that the patient is improperly positioned on the patient support surface (22) for either the turn assist function or the therapy function. Alternatively or additionally, the control circuitry (98) indicates that the patient is improperly positioned for raising a head section of a bed frame (20).
