摘要： A portable ultrasound system includes a user interface system including at least one display screen and at least one user input device, a processing circuit configured to perform general computing operations and configured to receive ultrasound imaging data from a removable ultrasound module, a housing containing the user interface system and the processing circuit and having an opening configured to removably receive the removable ultrasound module, and a connector configured to form an electrical connection with a corresponding second connector of the removable ultrasound module when the removable ultrasound module is fully inserted into the portable ultrasound system through the opening of the housing, and wherein the connector includes at least one guiding feature configured to align the connector and the second connector as the removable ultrasound module is inserted into the portable ultrasound system.

摘要： A wireless ultrasound probe has a probe case enclosing a transducer array, an acquisition circuit, a transceiver and a battery. The probe also includes a loudspeaker which produces audible sounds during use of the probe. The loudspeaker, which may be a piezoelectric loudspeaker, issues an alert when battery power is low or signal strength of the wireless transmission is poor or nonexistent. The loudspeaker can provide user feedback to the actuation of a button or control on the probe. The loudspeaker can provide haptic feedback during use of the probe, and can be used to produce audio Doppler tones or heart sounds during probe use.

In the docked mode a portable ultrasound system (60) is docked with a docking station (50) . The portable ultrasound system (60) is controlled by hard key controls on a control panel of the docking station (50) and ultrasound images are displayed on a docking station display (28) . In the portable mode the portable ultrasound system is operated separate from the docking station (50) . Functions of a plurality of the hard keys of the control panel (44) are mapped to graphically displayed soft keys displayed on a flat panel display of the portable ultrasound system. The ultrasound system is controlled by clicking on these displayed soft keys or touching the displayed soft keys when the flat panel display is a touchscreen display.

摘要： Disclosed is a mobile ultrasound diagnostic instrument including a self-powered ultrasound console (10) having electronics for driving a transducer array (12), processing reflected ultrasound waves, and a visual display for processed ultrasound waves. A docking stand (18) is provided for the console that includes a sleeve (16) for slide receiving the console of the instrument, the sleeve being configured to expose the visual display and manual controls of the console. A vertical support (18) positions the sleeve (16) in a raised position above the base (20), which preferably includes wheels (22) for moving the docking stand and a diagnostic instrument during use. The sleeve preferably includes a signal connector (40) for mating with a connector of the console (38) and receiving video signals for auxiliary display. A power connector (34) can be provided for mating with a power connector (32) of the console for operating the console and for charging batteries in the console.
