摘要： A system and method for co-registering image data includes generating a reference state model defined by deformable and non-deformable surfaces of a region of interest (ROI) of a patient. The reference state model is generated by identifying a deformable surface in a first image representing the ROI in a reference position, with the location of one or more anatomical reference points on the deformable surface tracked using at least one surface marker. Deformable and non-deformable surfaces of the ROI are identified within a medical image representing the ROI in a deformed position relative to the reference position. The non-deformable surface in the medical image is registered to positional coordinates of anatomical reference point(s) within the reference state model. The position of a target pixel in the medical image is projected to the reference state model based on a relative location of the target pixel between the deformable and non-deformable surfaces.

The first imaging position allows radiation rays 22 to pass from the radiation source 16, through the opening 34, and into the second imaging region 28 while restricting the radiation rays 22 from passing into the first imaging region 26 when the radiation source 16 is in a first scanning position. 摘要： A multi-mode breast x-ray imaging system comprising an x-ray source and an x-ray detector. The source and detector perform a single image scan which generates images during a single breast compression, using at least two different imaging modes including mammography and tomosynthesis imaging. The imaging modes may differ with regard to an imaging procedure selected from: receptor motion; anti-scatter grid use; exposure control; and/or patient shielding, and the system may be arranged to apply an AEC method wherein a receptor count varies during the different imaging modes to compensate for radiographic scatter. The system may be adapted to use information from a single scout image to identify a density of a patient's breast for use in the at least two imaging modes. The system may be adapted to dynamically modify an exposure technique for the image scan based on a signal reaching the detector.

摘要： The present invention provides a radiographic image detector that may maintain even resolution in 6 directions before and after 3-pixel binning process or 4-pixel binning process. A radiation detector is disposed with plural pixels that have hexagonal shaped pixel regions, arrayed in a honeycomb pattern. Scan lines connected to TFT switches in each of the pixels are disposed one for each of the pixel rows. Grouped scan lines are also disposed one for each of the pixel rows for reading and combining 3 pixels or 4 pixels worth of charges at the same timing for plural pixel groups, each configured from 3 pixels or 4 pixels in a radiation detection element. ON signals are simultaneously sent by the grouped scanned lines to the TFT switches to perform 3-pixel binning or 4-pixel binning.
