    • The invention relates to a shifting device (11, 40) with a servo-assistance device (10) for a transmission (30) of a vehicle. A gearshift linkage (4, 6, 16) is connected to a lever (18) which is in turn connected to a control rod (20) of the assistance device (10). A gearshift shaft (26, 44) engages in gearshift rails (32) of the transmission (30) by means of levers (28). A central gearshift shaft (44) is provided in the shifting device (40) which is permanently mounted on the transmission case. Said central gearshift shaft can be rotationally activated by the driver-activated gearshift linkage (4, 6, 16) in order to transmit the manual shifting force to the disengaging lever (18) of the assistance device (10) and in order to transmit the manual shifting force to the gearshift rails (32) of the transmission (30). The central gearshift shaft (44) can also be displaceably activated by the gearshift linkage (4, 6, 16) in order to select the gearshift rail (32) to be shifted. The shifting force supplied by the assistance device (11) can be transmitted to is an axially fixed hollow shaft (52) in the shifting device (40). Said hollow shaft surrounds the central gearshift shaft (44) and can be rotated with the central gearshift shaft (44) in order to shift the gearshift rails (32).

    • The invention relates to an electro-pneumatic switch unit for a motor vehicle gear transmission comprising a main driving gear, a splitting change-gear transmission which is pneumatically switchable through a valve and an electronic control device (8). A valve (14, 14') is actuated by a reverse speed shifting, and the pressure transmitted to the cylinder (6) of the splitting change-gear transmission is released by an electric valve (12) in order to switch said transmission in such a way that the piston (17) of the cylinder (6) pushes a corresponding gearshift fork by means of a control rod (19) in an opposite direction with respect to a sliding coupling (5) for synchronising the splitting change-gear transmission, thereby producing a braking torque which slows the wheelset thereof in such a way that the reverse gear can be shifted without rattle.
