摘要： The invention provides a vacuum cleaner (11) enabled to detect an obstacle (W) at a position of a side brush (26) while securely cleaning dust and dirt located outside an outer frame of a main casing (12) by the side brush (26). The vacuum cleaner (11) includes the main casing (12), driving wheels, side brushes (26), an obstacle sensor (74), and a control unit. The driving wheels enable the main casing (12) to travel. The side brushes (26) are provided so as to be reciprocatively movable in both a direction of protruding from the outer frame of the main casing (12) and its opposite direction, thus enabling cleaning of dust and dirt located outside the outer frame of the main casing (12). The obstacle sensor (74) detects an obstacle (W) by detecting a movement of the side brush (26) in the opposite direction due to its contact with the obstacle (W). The control unit controls drive of the driving wheels based on detection of an obstacle (W) by the obstacle sensor (74) to make the main casing (12) autonomously travel.

摘要： Proposed is an electric vacuum cleaner with which it is possible to effectively prevent leakage of dust in a dust transport channel that extends from the dust container of an autonomous robotic vacuum cleaning unit to a station. The cleaning unit (2) includes a body case (11) having a dust container opening (37), and a primary dust container (12) having: a container body (38) detachably provided to the body case (11), the container body (38) accumulating dust collected by the cleaning unit (2); a connecting part (39) exposed from the dust container opening (37), or facing the dust container opening (37), when attached to the body case (11); a disposal port (41) provided in the connecting part (39), the disposal port (41) discharging dust from inside the container body (38); and a disposal lid (42) opening and closing the disposal port (41). The station (5) includes a dust transfer pipe (25) contacting the connecting part (39) of the primary dust container (12) and connected to the disposal port (41), and a secondary dust container (68) in which dust discharged from the primary dust container (12) through the dust transfer pipe (25) is accumulated.

摘要： Provided is a vacuum cleaner capable of ensuring communication between a suction port (52) and a dust collecting unit (14) even in a state that a body portion (35) of a cleaning unit (28) has pivoted along an up/down direction relative to a main casing (12). A sliding-contact surface portion (54) is provided in the body portion (35) so as to face a dust collecting unit (14) side and curved along a pivoting direction of the body portion (35). A communicating port (55) is opened in the body portion (35) so as to face the dust collecting unit (14) side and to communicate with the suction port (52). A communicating section (29) including a curved surface portion (62) and a communicating opening (63) is interposed between the cleaning unit (28) and the dust collecting unit (14) and fixed to the main casing (12). The curved surface portion (62) is provided in the communicating section body (61) and curved along the pivoting direction of the body portion (35) so as to be brought into sliding contact with the sliding-contact surface portion (54) by pivoting motion of the body portion (35). The communicating opening (63) is opened in the curved surface portion (62) so as to communicate with the dust collecting unit (14).

The side brush (19) includes a cleaning unit (43) rotatably provided to the brush body (41). The cleaning unit (43) is to rotate to clean the cleaning target surface.

摘要： An electric vacuum cleaning apparatus (1) is provided with an autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner (2) that autonomously moves between surfaces to be cleaned and collects dust and a station (5) that is capable of fluidly connecting to the autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner (2). The autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner (2) is provided with: a container body (38) for accumulating dust collected by the autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner (2), the container body (38) including a bottom wall (132) that has a disposal port (41) provided thereto; and a disposal lid (42) for opening and closing the disposal port (41). The station unit (5) is provided with: a dust transfer pipe (25) that is connected to the disposal port (41); a secondary dust container (68) for accumulating dust that is disposed of from the container body (38) through the dust transfer pipe (25); and a secondary electric blower (69) that generates negative suction pressure in the dust transfer pipe (25) via the secondary dust container (68). At least one irregularly shaped ventilation groove (133) that causes air to flow below the dust (D) within the container body (38) as a result of the negative pressure generated by the secondary electric blower (69) is provided to the inner surface (132a) of the bottom wall (132) of the container body (38).

摘要： A vacuum cleaner capable of detecting an obstacle brought into contact with a bumper (15) in a wide range with a simple configuration is provided. Link mechanisms (16), (16) connect the bumper (15) to be movable in a relatively horizontal direction with respect to a case main body (14). A coil spring (55) energizes the bumper (15) in a direction separated from the case main body (14). Obstacle sensors (74), (74) are arranged at positions facing the bumper (15) in the case main body (14). The obstacle sensors (74), (74) detect an obstacle by detecting movement of the bumper (15), due to contact with the obstacle, in at least one of a direction opposite to an energizing direction of the coil spring (55) and a direction crossing such a direction. A control unit controls the drive of a driving wheel based on detection of the obstacle by the obstacle sensor (74) to allow the main body case to travel autonomously.

摘要： Provided is an electric vacuum cleaner (11) maintaining an approximately constant gap between a suction port (52) and a surface to be cleaned (F), and reducing the chance that a cleaning portion (28) drives over the surface to be cleaned (F) while allowing a suction force to be secured. The main body case (12) is provided with an electric blower, and a dust collecting portion (14) communicating with a suction side of the electric blower. The driving wheels allow the main body case (12) to travel on the surface to be cleaned (F). The cleaning portion (28) is provided with a main body portion (35), the suction port (52), and wheels (39). The main body portion (35) with a bottom surface portion (51) facing the surface to be cleaned (F) is located in a lower portion of the main body case (12) and is capable of moving up and down. The suction port (52) is provided on the bottom surface portion (51) and communicates with the dust collecting portion (14). The wheels (39) protrude downward from the bottom surface portion (51) to contact the surface to be cleaned (F), thereby causing the main body portion (35) to move up and down in such a way as to trace the surface to be cleaned (F).
