    • An automotive air conditioner (1) includes a compressor (2), an external heat exchanger (5), an evaporator, and an auxiliary condenser (3). The second expansion valve (42) regulates the valve opening degree such that the refrigerant state at an inlet side of the compressor (2) during a heating operation is in a range where the dryness of refrigerant is greater than or equal to 0.9 and the superheat of refrigerant is less than or equal to 5°C.
