    • The invention relates to a solenoid valve with a magnet assembly and a valve cartridge (22) which comprises a pole core (23), a valve insert (25) connected to the pole core (23), an armature (24) which is guided within the valve insert (25) in an axially movable manner between a closed position and an open position and is coupled to a closing element (28), and a valve body (29) which is connected to the valve insert (25) and has a main valve seat (30) which is arranged between at least one first flow opening (31) and a second flow opening (32), wherein the axially movable armature (24), when the magnet assembly is energized, is moved by a generated magnetic force within the valve insert (25) in the direction of the pole core (23) counter to a spring force of a resetting spring (26) and counter to a fluid force in order to lift the closing element (28) out of the main valve seat (30) and to permit a flow of fluid between the at least one first flow opening (31) and the second flow opening (32), and wherein the axially movable armature (24) is moved away from the pole core (23) by the spring force of the resetting spring (26) and by the fluid force within the valve insert (25) in order to press the closing element (28) into the main valve seat (30) in a sealing manner and to interrupt the fluid flow between the at least one first flow opening (31) and the second flow opening (32). According to the invention, the profiles of the magnetic force, the spring force and the fluid force are combined via the lifting profile of the armature (24) and of the closing element (28) in such a manner that at least one further, stable working point can be set between the closed position and the open position of the armature (24) and of the closing element (28), said working point representing a point of equilibrium of forces with a negative overall force gradient.
