摘要： The present invention prevents a vehicle from being started to move when placed in a half-clutch state by the driver when a clutch lower switch is suffering from an "on" failure. The engine start control system for a manual transmissions equipped engine vehicle comprises a manual transmission (3); a clutch upper switch (28); a clutch lower switch (29); and an engine control module (20) that starts the engine (1) when determining, based on switch signals, that a clutch pedal (12) has been operated while the engine (1) is in a stop state. When a pedal depression termination operation indicative signal is detected by the clutch lower switch (29) when the switch signal of the clutch upper switch (28) switches from a foot released state indicative signal (OFF) to a pedal depression start operation indicative signal (ON), the engine control module (20) prohibits the engine (1) from being started.

摘要： A vehicle traveling control method including: detecting a remaining fuel amount (R) in a fuel tank (20) including a fuel chamber (26) in which a suction port (27) of a fuel pump (22) is disposed for sucking fuel to be supplied to an engine (2), the fuel tank being configured to generate negative pressure for sucking fuel to the fuel chamber (26) by ejecting a part of fuel sucked by the fuel pump (22) into the fuel chamber (26) via a fuel line (29); permitting, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, inertial traveling during which a vehicle (1) travels, with the engine (2) kept stopped; and operating, when the detected remaining fuel amount (R) is less than a first threshold (T1), the fuel pump (22) despite the engine (2) stopped owing to the inertial traveling.

When the power supply system control device determines that actuation of the electric load has a possibility of requiring higher voltage than normal, it increases a remaining amount of charge in the second electricity storage means in advance.
