    • A location information management system of the present invention includes: a mobile station (30) that is located in a mobile communication network; and a service management server (40) that receives a movement sensing request to sense a movement of the mobile station (30) from a service providing server (50) provided in an external communication network, the service management server (40) thereafter notifying the service providing server (50) that the movement of the mobile station (30) has been sensed upon an occurrence of the movement of the mobile station (30). The mobile station (30) receives, from a base station (10) forming an area in which the mobile station (30) is located, first area information included in information that is periodically transmitted to each mobile station located in the area, the mobile station (30) thereafter sensing that the mobile station itself has moved upon receipt of second area information different from the first area information, and the mobile station notifying the service management server (40) that the movement of the mobile station itself has been sensed.
