    • It is possible to provide a communication system capable of using data generated by a device to be used regardless of a common service platform to which the device to be used is connected. The communication system according to the present invention includes: a common service control apparatus (30) that collects data generated in a device apparatus (10); a common service control apparatus (130) that collects data generated in a device apparatus (110); and an application server (50) that provides a service using the data collected in the common service control apparatus (30). The common service control apparatus (30) determines, upon receiving a message from the application server (50), whether the common service control apparatus (30) is connected to the target device apparatus specified in the message, and when the common service control apparatus (30) is not connected to the target device apparatus, the common service control apparatus (30) collects the data from the target device apparatus (110) via the common service control apparatus (130).
