摘要： A radio terminal according to an embodiment comprises: a controller configured to execute processing of establishing connection with a network for relaying using a Device to Device (D2D) proximity service; a transmitter configured to transmit a discovery message for the relaying, after the connection is established; and a receiver configured to receive a request message from another radio terminal that has received the discovery message. 摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a network element selection entity and a user equipment registration method, which belong to the field of wireless communications technologies. The network element selection entity is selected by a serving base station device of a UE as a first serving MMNE of the UE, and includes: a communications unit, configured to receive or send information; a processing unit, configured to: in a registration procedure in which the UE registers with the network element selection entity, acquire user information of the UE; determine, according to a correspondence between the user information and a candidate serving MMNE, a second serving MMNE selected for the UE; allocate, to the UE, a GUTI that belongs to the second serving MMNE; instruct the UE to re-initiate an attach procedure, so that the UE attaches to the second serving MMNE according to the GUIT. In the present invention, a serving MMNE is selected for a UE according to a correspondence between user information of the UE and a candidate serving MMNE. In this way, selection of a specific MMNE for a UE that has a particular feature is implemented, which improves flexibility of selecting an MMNE. By modifying a correspondence between user information of a UE and a candidate serving MMNE, an operator can select an MMNE for the UE according to different policies, which facilitates network management of the operator.

The method includes: receiving, by a base station, an RRC connection request of user equipment; acquiring priority information of multiple MMEs connected to the base station; and selecting a serving MME for the user equipment from the multiple MMEs according to the acquired priority information.
