    • The present invention discloses a transform coefficient dequantization method. A unit size of a to-be-processed unit corresponding to a first transform coefficient set is determined by using division information. Then, a quantization regulation factor for a first transform coefficient set is determined according to a first preset algorithm and the unit size of the to-be-processed unit, and with the first preset algorithm, the quantization regulation factor decreases progressively with the size of the to-be-processed unit. Dequantization processing is performed on a transform coefficient in the first transform coefficient set according to a second preset algorithm by using the quantization regulation factor. Based on the transform coefficient dequantization method disclosed in the present invention, a decoding device adaptively determines the quantization regulation factor for the first transform coefficient set according to the unit size of the to-be-processed unit, and then performs dequantization processing on the transform coefficient in the first transform coefficient set by using the determined quantization regulation factor. A code stream sent by the coding device does not need to carry quantization step size regulation information, and therefore coding efficiency can be improved. The present invention further discloses a corresponding apparatus and a decoding device.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide an intra-frame decoding method and apparatus for a signal component sampling point of an image block. The method includes: obtaining prediction mode information about a first signal component of a current block from a video code stream; determining a prediction mode for the first signal component of the current block according to the prediction mode information about the first signal component of the current block, where the prediction mode for the first signal component of the current block is one of a DM mode and an LM mode; obtaining a prediction value of a first signal component sampling point of the current block according to the prediction mode for the first signal component of the current block; and obtaining a reconstruction value of the first signal component sampling point of the current block according to the prediction value of the first signal component sampling point of the current block. The technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention reduce complexity of implementing a decoding end.

    • The present invention discloses an adaptive dequantization method and apparatus in video coding. According to the method provided in the present invention, a statistical feature of a background area in which a current transform block is located is estimated by using spatial neighborhood information, or temporal neighborhood information, or spatial neighborhood information and temporal neighborhood information of the transform block, a quantization adjustment factor for dequantization is adaptively derived, and dequantization processing is flexibly adjusted. In comparison with an existing solution in which quantization adjustment information is transmitted in a bitstream, according to the method and the apparatus that are provided in the present invention, extra bit overheads are not required to transmit the quantization adjustment information, thereby further improving coding efficiency.
