摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a capability matching method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: before a UE initiates a random access process, identifying, by the UE, a capability of a network side device, and when the UE identifies that the network side device is a network side device that does not support LC-MTC, reselecting, by the UE, to access another network side device. By means of the capability matching method, the apparatus, and the system provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a problem that a capability mismatch occurs between a UE and a network side device is avoided, and a waste of authorized resources, extra power consumption of a UE, and an interruption of data transmission are avoided.

摘要： A method and apparatus for cell handover are provided. The method includes the following steps. User equipment, UE, initiates a cell handover. If the UE is not in a downlink discontinuous reception state, the cell handover is performed when the UE is not in the downlink discontinuous reception state. If the UE is in a downlink discontinuous reception state, the UE exits the downlink discontinuous reception state and performs the cell handover when the UE is not in the downlink discontinuous reception state. The embodiments of the present invention prevent the problem that the UE cannot receive a handover indication command during the cell handover in time because the UE is in the downlink discontinuous reception state, thus reducing time delay of the cell handover, avoiding longer service interruption, and reducing the call drop rate.

The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to a scenario of paging.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a group communication method and an apparatus. A base station is provided, including: a processing module, configured to determine to start scheduling PTM transmission in a first cell, where the scheduling PTM transmission is used to enable UE in the first cell to receive data on a scheduling PTM transmission resource; and a sending module, configured to: send configuration information of the scheduling PTM transmission to the UE in the first cell, where the configuration information is used to enable the UE in the first cell to receive data according to an indication of the configuration information; and send, on the scheduling PTM transmission resource, data according to the indication of the configuration information. The group communication method and the apparatus that are provided in the embodiments of the present invention are used to save transmission resources used in group communication, and increase resource utilization.
