摘要： The present invention proposes a method of sending a UE the timing advance information per carrier group promptly and commanding preamble transmission, and activating secondary carriers in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation technology using uplink transmission timings for the respective carrier groups. Through the present invention, the UE is capable of configuring the timing advance information of the carrier group promptly and activating the secondary carrier quickly, resulting in reduction of uplink transmission delay.

摘要： Techniques are disclosed for increasing the reliability of transferring data via in-band signaling in a audio channel of a communication network. Techniques include causing an audio decoding process to modify the decoding of audio signals for the audio channel based on obtaining an indication of in-band signaling. The modified decoding may replace an adaptive de-jitter buffer by a static de-jitter buffer or increase the buffering time of an adaptive de jitter buffer. The decoded audio signals may be provided to an in-band message detector, an audio encoder or an audio playback device based on the indication of in-band signaling. The techniques may be employed by a user equipment, a media gateway control function or a media gateway to improve the reliability of in-band transfer of a minimum set of data (MSD) for a Next Generation eCall.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a packet via high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) are disclosed. At least one HSDPA medium access control (MAC-hs) service data unit (SDU) is segmented into a plurality of segments. MAC-hs protocol data units (PDUs) are generated from the segments wherein each MAC-hs PDU includes at least one segment. Each MAC-hs PDU may include one segment from a single MAC-hs SDU. The size of the segments may match to the size of the MAC-hs PDUs minus the size of the header of the MAC-hs PDU. The sizes of the segments may be determined based on the number of segments to which the MAC-hs SDU is segmented. Alternatively, each MAC-hs PDU may include a combination of segments from a plurality of MAC-hs SDUs or a combination of at least one segment from one MAC-hs SDU and at least one entire MAC-hs SDU.

摘要： This invention relates to a design of an efficient buffer management model in order to increase the efficiency of data exchange between two process threads, - e.g. when implementing a network transport protocol stack. This invention proposes to use an interconnected system of different kinds of memory buffers (100, 101, 102), implemented as asynchronous read/write ring buffers ARWRB. These buffers are organized in a way, in which data can be stored into the buffer or fetched from the buffer essentially avoiding synchronization means like mutexes or semaphores. In contrast to the conventional buffer management model, three ring buffers, namely send ring buffer (100), send token ring buffer (101) and receive ring buffer (102), are used within the transport protocol stack.
