    • The device for removing solid impurities from thermoplastic synthetic materials comprises a housing (1) with a feed channel (3) for the material which is to be purified and a discharge channel (5) for purified material. A filter band (7) penetrates the flow path of the material in the housing (1) in a sealed manner between the feed channel (3) and the discharge channel (5); said filter band being able to be displaced in the longitudinal direction thereof and used to separate the solid impurities. A support body (11) with a plurality of through channels arranged next to each other for through flow of the purified material to the discharge channel (5) is disposed in the flow path on the side of the filter band (7) facing the discharge channel (5). Sealing means (27,29) are provided in the region of the filter band inlet (23) and in the region of the filter band outlet (25). The sealing means seal the filter band (7) in relation to the housing (1). The filter band (7) is continually or gradually advanced by means of a conveyor device (43). The sealing means of the filter band outlet (25) cool the impurity load (19) of the filter band (7) containing a proportion of thermoplastic material in an at least approximate manner until solidification occurs. A controllable blocking device (35) is disposed on the outlet (25) of the filter band, whereby said device modifies the size of the cross-section of the filter band outlet (25) and the size of the cross-section of the filter band (7) provided with the load of impurities (19) in order to block or release the advance movement of the filter band (7) in relation thereto.The blocking device can comprise a blocking piston (37) which controllably narrows the dimension of the outlet, or the blocking device can comprise a motor driven tool, e.g. a milling cutter, which reduces the cross-section of the impurity load to a value which is smaller than that of the cross-section of the filter band outlet (25).

The rotor (25) is coupled to the crankshaft (23) to exclude relative rotational motion, solely by means of the piston rods (19) and the eccentric bearings (27, 31) fixed with respect to the crankshaft. The intake air is compressed by an exhaust supercharger (37, 39) and supplied to the internal-combustion engine via a heat exchanger (45) to increase efficiency.

Das gegenläufige Hin- und Herschwenken der kreisbogenförmigen Messerbalken (2) wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Streben (11) bezüglich des Schwenkpunktes (10) um einen geringen Winkelbetrag oszillierend hin- und hergeschwenkt werden, was durch einen oberhalb der Streben (11) angeordneten Motor (15) mittels eines Exzenterantriebes (13) geschieht. Dadurch ergibt sich nicht nur eine einfache konstruktive Gestaltung des Mähgerätes, sondern wegen des relativ geringen Kraftaufwandes des hier verwendeten, zwischen zwei Schneidkanten (4) abscherenden Schnittes wird der Einsatz von akkumulatorengespeisten Elektromotoren sinnvoll, was besonders für den Privatbereich wünschenswerte akustische Vorteile bringt.

    • The invention relates to a cleaning device for removing solid impurities from viscous material, in particular molten plastics material, comprising, inside a housing (1), a filter band (5) for separating out solid impurities which can be moved in its longitudinal direction. The filter band (5) is wrapped around a curved supporting area (7) of a fixed supporting member (3) at an angle of wrap of preferably approximately 180°, and is guided on both sides of the curved supporting area (7) in level supporting areas (15, 17) which lie tangentially and flush against the curved supporting area (7). To reduce the kinetic resistance of the filter band (5), the curved supporting area (7) and at least partly the level supporting areas (15, 17) are provided with grooves (25) extending in the direction of transport of the filter band (5). The plastics material to be cleaned is supplied via a feeding chamber (23) surrounding the supporting area, and, after it has been cleaned, is removed via connecting channels (27, 35) extending from the grooves (25). On the outlet side of the cleaning device the filter band (5) passes through a cleaning station (67). In this way the filter band can be reused. The proposed cleaning device is compact and allows for relatively large effective filtering surfaces.
