    • The stacker crane according to the present invention includes a lower frame 3 having running wheels 9, 11 runable along a rail at both front and rear end portions thereof. The lower frame 3 has a connecting frame 25 which connects front and rear wheel support frames 23, 24 for supporting the running wheels 9 and 11 to each other. The front support rod 5F is held by a flange 23a at its lower end surface, which is formed at the lower end portion of the front side wheel support frame 23; and the side surface of the front support rod is connected and supported by the front side wheel support frame 23. The rear support rod 5R is held by a flange 24a, which is formed at the lower end portion of the rear side wheel support frame 24 at its lower end surface; and the side surface of the rear support rode is connected and supported by the rear side wheel support frame 24.
