    • The invention relates to a machine for the additive manufacture of parts by sintering or melting powder, including a frame 12, at least one working area 28, and at least two modules 14, 16 for emitting and controlling a beam of energy, wherein said modules are mounted inside the frame and are each provided with an emission source 40a, 40b and an optical means 44a, 44b for focussing the emitted beam of energy. The emission and control modules 14, 16 each operate in said working area 28 to produce the same part. At least the optical focussing means 44a, 44b of each module is moveable in axial translation in relation to the frame 12. The machine further includes at least two actuators 52, 54 that are each associated with just one of the optical focussing means 44a, 44b in order to adjust the axial position of said means in relation to the working area 28 independently of one another.
