摘要： An inkjet head includes a cavity plate (900) having a plurality of pressure chambers (911) arranged in matrix, a piezoelectric sheet (10) laminated on the cavity plate, and a power supply board (61). A plurality of substantially rhombus driving electrodes (11) are formed on the piezoelectric sheet in a matrix at positions corresponding to the pressure chambers. A first contact ground (14) extends from one of the acute angle corners of each driving electrode. The driving electrodes are arranged such that the first contact ground extending from one driving electrode is placed between two driving electrodes adjacent to said one driving electrode. The power supply board has a plurality of second contact grounds (63) formed at positions corresponding to the first contact grounds. The second contact grounds are connected with respective ones of the first contact grounds for power supply.

The pressure chamber rows include first pressure chamber rows (11a) each constituted by pressure chambers (10a) each connected with a nozzle deviated on one side thereof with respect to a second direction crossing the first direction, and second pressure chamber rows (11b) each constituted by pressure chambers (10b) each connected with a nozzle deviated on the other side thereof with respect to the second direction, when viewing from a third direction perpendicular to the plane. Each of the common ink passages including at least a boundary region between one of the first pressure chamber rows and one of the second pressure chamber rows neighboring each other so that nozzles connected with the pressure chambers in the each pressure chamber rows face outward each other when viewing from the third direction, and each of the common ink passages not overlapping any of the nozzles.

The ink jet printer (1) further comprises a device (50, 80) for maintaining the electric potentials of the ink passage body (4) and the second electrode (37) such that the electric potential of the ink passage body (4) is equal to or below the electric potential of the second electrode (37).
