The oxidiser supply (11) extends in the lance head (4) and is connected to at least one oxidator output opening (8). The control device (13)is used for controlling the flow cross-section of the oxidiser supply (11). In order to improve the lance (3), the control de vice (13) is provided with a control piston (14) whose stroke is controllable in the lance head for controlling oxidiser supply (11) according to said stroke.

    • The invention relates to a combustion chamber (3) of a combustion installation, the combustion chamber (3) having a heat shield (1) with at least two segments (2) and (2'). Each of the segments (2) and (2') has a liner element (4, 4') facing a combustion space (3) and a holding device (5, 5'), with the liner element (4) attached to a supporting structure (7) via a supporting element (6). This attachment is effected by means of a border region (8) which is formed on the liner element (4) and engages behind a flange region (9) formed by the holding device (5). To cool the border regions (8), facing a gap (10) arranged between the edges of two adjacent liner elements (4) and (4'), of the liner elements (4), the holding device (5), in the region of its flange region (9), has through-openings (12), through which cooling gas flows out of a first cooling channel (11), which is formed by the holding device (5) together with the supporting element (6), onto the border region (8) which is to be cooled.
