    • The invention relates to a torsion damping device (1), particularly for a motor vehicle clutch, having a cage (3) for holding a number of spring elements (2). The cage comprises two cover plates (4, 5) disposed at an axial distance (a) to each other, wherein the two cover plates (4, 5) are connected by means of spacers (6) that are configured in a U-shape, and are kept at a distance (a), and wherein the U-shaped spacers (6) each have two legs (7, 8) and a connecting section (9) located between them. In order to limit the available space between the cover plates as little as possible, the invention provides that one leg (7) of the spacer (6) comes to rest on the face (10) of the one cover plate (5) facing away from the other cover plate (4).
