    • The device (20; 120) comprises first and second elements (22, 24; 122, 124) which are intended to be rigidly connected each to a respective length (12, 14; 112, 114) of an elongated mechanical transmission member (10; 110), such as a push-pull cable, a rod or a bar, and are slidably arranged relative to one another in the axial direction of the transmission member (10; 110).
