The torsion spring is mounted in a wound state in which the coil portion moves away from or toward an engaged position of the arm portion, and the arm portion is constrained in a moving direction of the coil portion and is allowed to move in a direction opposite to the moving direction to be engaged with a corresponding portion.

The door handle apparatus for the vehicle related to the present invention includes the outside handle configured by integrally fixing a first handle member made of resin and a second handle member made of resin which is at a vehicle inner side relative to the first handle member to each other via the fixing mechanism, and the fixing member is configured by a pair of engagement tabs provided at the second handle member and arranged to be separated from each other by a predetermined space portion and to face each other, a pedestal portion provided at the first handle member and including an engagement hole into which the pair of engagement tabs is insertable, and a self-tapping screw made of metal serving as a stopper member inserted in a space portion between the pair of engagement tabs which is in a state of being inserted in the engagement hole of the pedestal portion.

The energy-storing member stores energy when the umbrella cloth unfolds and releases energy when the vehicle door is closed; thus provides an auxiliary force when the umbrella cloth folds/unfolds.
